Butterflies

When I lived in California, any time I would see a butterfly I would think of the Holy Spirit. If I was going through a difficult season, God always seemed to put a beautiful butterfly in my path. The spiritual view of butterflies is that they are symbolic of change and transformation. It tells us that change is essential and we cannot avoid it. It teaches us to appreciate the change slowly, enabling us to fly.

Seeing them flutter through the air brought me so much comfort in times of loneliness or confusion, so I wanted to incorporate them into WayLane.

This season of my life, I have stepped out in complete faith by moving across the country from California to Nashville, simply because God made it clear time and time again that's where he wanted me to be. In the last 6 months, my life has undergone a complete transformation. I've grown so much in such a short amount of time and God has been so faithful and kind to answer years of praying, in only a few short months after taking the plunge and being obedient to chase the dream God put on my heart. Like a butterfly, I've spread my wings and flown across the country and I've landed on something truly remarkable. Where is God calling you to fly?
